A growing business often necessitates sacrifices on a daily business to ensure your business succeeds. Unable to secure office space outside the home, the client opted to turn their second bedroom into a home office. But that also meant that they would need to rethink how they frequently hosted out of town family and friends.
Monogram was hired to rethink and create a space that could function as both an office and a place for Grandma to rest her head. Drawing upon the client’s love of color and vintage, we pitched a space that was soft, feminine but most importantly functional.
Emphasis was placed on making the space feel less corporate and more like a lounge where stuff gets done. Furniture was selected that straddled pretty and functional. The design is flexible enough that with little effort, the client can easily transition the space back to a bedroom or a nursery as the family needs shift.
