Blu Home Mare Island Project…

I have been hinting at a big project I have been working on for the last few weeks and I can finally let the cat out of the bag.  I am excited to say that I have officially partnered with Blu Homes, a leader in prefab and green construction.  As part of this partnership, I will be their lead interior designer for their newest project in Northern California on Mare Island….

Located, right outside Vallejo, Mare Island is a decommissioned military base that is now home to a thriving art, university and residential community.  With fantastic views of the water and an easy commute to Oakland & San Francisco, Mare Island was the perfect location for Blu to construct a community of its pre-fabricated homes as well as relocate it’s manufacturing facilities.  As their first project, they have opted to build their gorgeous Breeze House model for showcasing their unique approach to sustainable living…..

The property opens up for it’s official “debut” on April 24th so I have a little under 3 weeks to bring the house alive with my unique take on California living.  I am excited for this opportunity and even more excited to share the process with you on the blog!

Stay tuned for sneak peeks on the process before the big reveal!

They’re the makers of the Breeze house! I adore that thing… If I had a big hunk of property I’d put one on in a heartbeat.
